Cut your own WOOD BASE....using safety googles and protecting your fingers while cutting.
You will be able to: |
- a base for your tower which allows your metal floor plates to fit snugly.

- Clear close-up picture of your base.

Design & Engineer a model tower with an extending Crane using 1/8 inch by 1/8 inch balsa wood.
- You may NOT use more than 40 wood sticks.
- you may only use wood glue
- The tower must be at least 15 inches high.
- The crane must extend so that a weight can be placed at least 12 inches from the END of the tower.
- You may only use 8 metal plates and/or clay as counterweights for your structure.

- Your tower is able to hold the following weights for at 10 secs without significant deformity of structure.
- Bucket and 1 golf ball
- Bucket and 10 golf balls
- Bucket and 25 golf balls
